Infinity Photography & Design has been in business just over a year and WOW, what a year it has been! This first year has been amazing and I am infinitely convinced I made the right decision to switch careers.
For me, starting Infinity has been quite challenging both mentally and physically. My patience, mental strength, decision making skills and intelligence are questioned and scrutinized (by me) over each and every move made in the business.
With a degree in journalism and a specialization in advertising, moving into a field where I can create and capture moments in lives of families and businesses is really a special blessing. It has allowed me an opportunity to hone my skills in a new trade while continuing my education in advertising, journalism and the art of photography and design.
In addition to the "business" aspect, I have a chance to meet and work with wonderful people: first time parents, parents of two and three (and four) children, first time grandparents and families where I meet immediate and extended members. Small business owners, doctors, nurses, volunteers - people just like you and me. Each individual is looking to capture and display a moment in their lives. I am truly honored I am called to create these memories.
Over the years to come, I hope to be able to write at least every other day. To keep a better record of Infinity's progression and to keep my clients abreast of new topics, exciting details and little tidbits. Truly starting "A New Chapter".
